september
We hosted our annual Zonta Style Show on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 with the theme “Steppin’ into Fashion”. Thanks to the leadership of our co-chairs, Vicki Peterson and Pam DeMarce we were able to raise enough money to donate to CADA, YWCA Mankato, and Life Work Planning. We also were able to partner with Alpha Chi Omega to facilitate our live auction.

November/December
16 Days of Activism was kicked off with an honoring candlelight vigil at First Congregational United Church of Christ in recognition of those that lost their lives to domestic violence.

The Zonta Club of Mankato gathered together to package holiday gift bags to Life Works Planning, which included a variety of donated items from community partners.

january
Led by Sesamae Glackler-Riquelme, we were able to sponsor a Period Pantry. We collected feminine hygiene products at several locations in Mankato to fill the pantry.

Funds from the Style Show were distributed to the three recipients, Life Work Planning, YWCA Mankato, and CADA. Each were awarded $6500 to use for services that help women in the Greater-Mankato community.

Zonta purchased a banner for our “Say No to Violence” campaign.

february
We kicked off our February meeting with a presentation from Heather Gordon and Tim Murry with the Bravo Zulu organization. They discussed their successful build of a recovery house in the Fall of 2025 and their plans for the first female-only recovery house in 2026-2027.
