Zonta Club of Mankato is happy to announce that we are again able to offer the $1000 Young Women in Public Affairs scholarship for 2023.

The basic criteria is listed below:

Women, aged 16-19 on 1 April each year, studying at a secondary school, college or university in a Zonta district/region, or who are studying elsewhere but are citizens of a Zonta country, who demonstrate evidence of the following, are eligible to apply.

Active commitment to volunteerism.

Experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership (paid or unpaid).

Volunteer leadership achievements.

Knowledge of Zonta International and its programs.

Support in Zonta International's mission of empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy

I am hopeful that you will have applicants from your school who will complete the attached application form and return to the committee by March 1. 2023. The winning scholarship winner from Zonta Club of Mankato will then be submitted for potential recognition and additional monetary award at District 7 as well as International level.
