The full circle

I have the honor of being a past recipient of Zonta’s Young women in public affairs award. I received the scholarship when I was at the end of high school. I had no idea what I wanted to do. I didn’t choose to start college. The scholarship helped me explore what my options could be. The scholarship helped me learn about radio in the mountains of Colorado, explore government policy and structure in Washington DC and deep dive into podcasting in Los Angeles. After a few years off I finally decided to start my educational journey in the Graphic Communication program. I also decided that I am at the part of my life where I can contribute more to the community. So I joined Zonta. I have always admired the work Zonta has done, I love the people  who are apart of the Club and my main core values align with Zonta’s. I am  so grateful for Zonta. It is an honor to be a member of the Mankato Chapter. I wouldn’t be where I am today with Zonta Mankato.
